"I take pride in helping clients with their legal matter. Often this will be the first time that these people have ever needed legal advice and it’s important that we let them know how we can assist and what is going to happen. Once I have advised the client on how we can assist I enjoy working towards the goal of obtaining the best possible result and there is a great sense of personal satisfaction when the client achieves this result after careful submissions before the Magistrate or Judge.”
Kellie joined Prime Lawyers in 2011 after relocating from Queensland. Kellie has practised law for a number of years and was first admitted as a Barrister in April 2002. At that time she was employed by the Queensland Government for the Director of Public Prosecutions and acted in a variety of fields as requested by her then employer.
In January 2009 Kellie entered private practice and focused her time on obtaining significant experience in family law (including domestic violence and child protection) along with serious criminal and traffic law matters. Kellie has also presented at a number of legal professional development conferences and is the author and presenter of a family law relocation seminar.
Since joining Prime Lawyers Kellie has become an invaluable member of the team and her years of experience as a Barrister has provided Kellie with exceptional interpersonal skills which has enabled her to provide clear legal advice in plain English.
Kellie’s experience as a Barrister is also a major advantage where the matter is likely to be finalised at Court (such as criminal and traffic charges and contested Family Law proceedings) and Kellie takes pride in advocating for all of her clients.
Kellie may be contacted on kharris@primelaw.com.au or on (02) 9521 2222 and would be pleased to assist you with your legal matter.
Outside of the office Kellie spends most her spare time with her family and friends.
