One of my clients provides ongoing instructions in franchise and licensee matters. They are a large interstate company.
My work has involved preparing and negotiating on franchise and disclosure documents in accordance with the Franchising Code of Conduct. In seeking to expand its franchise territory and market share I frequently advise them on and act on associated matters such as purchases of businesses which our client wishes to take over in its expansion, negotiating on and securing leases of key locations which would be suitable for future franchise locations and preparing licence agreements for occupation of those locations by franchisees.
I have also been involved in advising this client on international expansion of the franchise. My client’s business continues to grow significantly and I have been more than happy to be just one phone call away when they need legal advice.
